OAKDALE — A 26-year-old man from Roscoe, Ill., was killed Wednesday night when the vehicle he was driving collided with a semi on I-90/94 at mile marker 50 near Oakdale.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the crash occurred at about 11:10 p.m.
The patrol said the passenger car and the semi were both eastbound on I-90/94 when the passenger car struck the rear of the semi.
Both lanes of the interstate were closed and traffic was diverted. Lanes reopened and traffic flow was restored at 6:18 a.m. today.
The name of the driver is being withheld pending notification of family.
The semi driver, a 55-year-old man from Kane, Pa., was not injured in the crash.
