The Tomah High School girls tennis team won its opening match of the 2008 season Tuesday, 5-2, at Onalaska Luther.
Tomah won three of four singles matches and two of the three doubles matches.

No. 2: Haines (T) def. Klinski, 6-3, 7-6 (5).
No. 3: Cox (OL) def. Hein, 7-5, 6-0.

No. 1 doubles: Black/Zietlow (OL) def. D. Lindley/K. Lindley, 6-3, 7-6 (5).
No. 2: Bundy/Jilek (T) def. Justin/Krause, 6-1, 6-0.
No. 3: McCarty/Deming (T) def. Grokowsky/Parker, 6-0, 6-0.
Next for the Timberwolves is the Tomah Triangular Aug. 29 at Tomah High School. Tomah will be joined by Black River Falls and Wisconsin Dells.
