Tomah High School baseball coach Matt Dutton and his staff will conduct the Tomah Youth Baseball Camp this fall.

The camp runs six consecutive Sunday evenings from Sept. 7-Oct. 12. The September sessions are from 6-8 p.m.; the October sessions are 5-7 p.m.

The cost is $50 per child and includes all six sessions, plus a hot dog, chips and soda pop. Children can also attend individual sessions for $10.

Instruction will include hitting mechanics, fielding mechanics, pitching mechanics, baserunning and overall aspects of the game of baseball.

The Tomah varsity coaching staff, as well as other special guests, will teach youngsters during the camp.

For more information, call Dutton at 608-487-4499.

" I hardly call holding clinics on Sunday evenings "stepping on other sports." I doubt that football, soccer and CC have practices on Sunday nights and I am almost positive they have no games/matches/competitions either. Get out of the dark ages...the day when kids could only play sports during the season in which they were held. No wonder we in Tomah have such poor atheletic teams. "

" You can hardly blame baseball for stepping on other sports to run this as it is done to them every spring.Too bad adults cannot maintain boundaries between sports seasons. "

" Great job Matt! Hopefully this camp is a success for you and the young baseball players in Tomah. "
