The Cranberry Country Bassmasters will host a “Take a Kid Fishing Day” on Lake Tomah on Saturday, July 12. The event will be held in Winnebago Park for kids from 3-17 years of age.

Prizes will be awarded and lunch will be provided to all kids accompanied by a parent or guardian. The hours will run from 8 a.m. until noon.

On Sunday, July 13, there will also be a Reels Kid Casting event outside the Tomah Wal-Mart store. Kids will be able to try their skills at casting, pitching and flipping. The ages of the kids who qualify are from 8-15 years of age (as of Aug. 31, 2008). The hours for this event will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
