Jankowski wins Dells Speedway feature

Tomah’s Corey Jankowski stormed back from a 10th-place start to win the Super Stock feature race Saturday at the Dells Raceway Park near Wisconsin Dells.

Jankowski, who started the night tied in the season points race with Travis Hancock of Mauston, took the checkered flag ahead of second-place Jim Bates of Wisconsin Dells.

Three other local drivers competed at the Dells Speedway Saturday. Two of them -- Cardell Potter of Camp Douglas and Jim Sauter of Tomah -- competed in the Limited Late Model division. Potter was eighth in the feature race, while Sauter was 17th.

Thayran Rezin was 12th in the Super Late Model feature race.

Racing resumes at the Dells Raceway Saturday. Qualifying begins at 5:30 p.m.; green flag racing starts at 7 p.m.
