The four finalists for Tomah City Administrator have been announced:

The finalists are:

*Dennis Linn, Administrator/Clerk in the village of Poynette.

*Darrell Neitzel, Senior Logistics and Public Works Manager at Fort McCoy.

*Joseph Laux, former mayor of Menasha.

Tomah Mayor Ed Thompson said the four finalists will be interviewed June 18 and that a successor will likely be named before current City Administrator John Rusch begins his retirement July 3.

" The city will select the person willing to take the lowest pay and is least likly to advance themselves (not take a higher paying job elsewhere). So again when they higher outside the city they hire "DOWN" in qualifications. "

" Yeah...I'm sure that you yourself would have been much more qualified for the position. Hope you caught my sarcasm there.

Maybe you should have an idea of what you're talking about before you comment. It looks to me like the TPD is doing some very fine work under the new administration. "

" Neitzel must be planning on retiring from Ft McCoy where he helped turn good government service into contractor provided services at a higher cost to the taxpayer. "

" What a way to waste money, with the ALL POWERFUL city administrator.

Haven't we learned anything from the last ALL POWERFUL OZ running the city.

Let's hope we don't get another MORONIC city administrator that keeps SPENDING OUR MONEY. "

" Just think of the people and professionals we would have to choose from if the Chief of police possition would have been put up for application. Thank god Mr. Thompson does it right and doesn't have the good ol boy network. "
