The Tomah City Council will hear initial appointments for the newly formed City Ethics Board at its monthly meeting on Tuesday.

The Ethics Board will consist of three citizen members, one designated by the mayor, one member of the City Council and one city employee. The Board will elect its own chair and vice-chair, as well as secretary. Terms of office for members are three years, except when initial appointments are made.

It has been recommended that Pam Buchda and City Administrator John Rusch be appointed to three year terms. Mayor Ed Thompson and Council member Dennis Workman have been recommended for two years and John Rose and Gregg Hagen have been recommended for one year terms.

The City Council will also hear a Lake Committee update as well as an update on the status of the Veterans Memorial Oversight group. The council meeting will convene to open session at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Committee of the Whole will meet at 6:30 p.m. today (Monday).
