Project supervisor Dick Kildahl said on Thursday that brick masonry, cement and concrete work are near completion, and detailed work on the interior has begun. Sheet rock, window casings and doors h ave arrived. The elevator was being installed on Thursday, and the indoor sprinkling system has been installed. “The framing is done,” Kildahl said. “It is ready for sheetrock. The ceiling grids are going in, and we are looking at more of the detailed work and moving towards finishing tasks.” Next on the list will be installing sheet rock and work on the HVAC and plumbing, Kildahl said. He also noted that the project had gotten slightly behind schedule, but a few good days and new crews got the project back on track. “We had a few good days and caught up pretty well,” Kildahl said. “We have got an ad hoc planning group for a building ceremony. It will be in the fall, and only a little over three months if we stay on schedule.”
