This past week the senior citizens of Gloria Dei had our monthly meeting. For our program we invited staff from the VA to give us an overall update on the recent happenings at Tomah. What a wonderful presentation.

Thank you, Toby Lane, Bruce Peth and Laura Bishop. I encourage all to extend an invitation to them. They covered every aspect. How lucky and fortunate we are to have these opportunities for our veterans right here in Tomah.

On Friday my husband and I attended the memorial service at the VA. After they read each name of the fallen soldiers, Jean Villhauer rang the bell. What a wonderful tribute to these brave men and women who gave their lives so that we may be free. Thank you, Jean. God bless America and God bless each and every one of you!
