One dead in Monroe County motorcyle crash

TOWN OF ADRIAN — One person is dead after a motorcycle crash reported early today on Hwy. A east of Hawk Road in the town of Adrian in Monroe County.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Department said the victim failed to negotiate a curve and struck a culvert, which catapulted the victim, who died at the scene.

The accident was reported at 2:45 a.m.

The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family, and the accident is being investigated by the sheriff's department and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
