Tomah Police Chief Wes Revels was recently alerted to a possible email fraud that he said Tomah residents should be on the lookout for.

A Tomah resident gave Revels a copy of an email that is advertising government help with utility bills for Tomah citizens. Revels said the email also askes for money.

The email stated, “If you’re a resident of Tomah, get help with your utility bills from the U.S. Government. Get info online.”

The sender’s email address is UtilityBillHelp@ConsumerInformationNetwork.com.
