Few tickets available for Bill Miller's symphony

Only a few seats remain for the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra’s concerts Friday and Saturday with Grammy Award-winning musician Bill Miller.

Symphony officials suggest people call today if they want to see the world premiere of Miller’s symphony, “The Last Stand,” based on the historical events at the Battle of Little Bighorn. Call the symphony office at (608) 783-2121.

Artwork from several Tomah High School art students will also be on display at Viterbo. Miller visited Tomah High School on Monday and worked with several art students on a mural painting. He also observed the students’ art projects, and returned to the school on Tuesday.

Look for more information on Miller’s visit to Tomah in Thursday’s Tomah Journal and online.
