Published - Friday, April 11, 2008 Sauk Prairie, Logan defeat soccer squad The Tomah High School girls soccer team dropped back to the .500 level after two games without scoring a goal. Tomah lost a 6-0 non-conference decision to Sauk Prairie Friday and dropped a 1-0 Mississippi Valley Conferencece matchup at La Crosse Logan Tuesday. The Timberwolves fell to 3-3-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the MVC. Sauk Prairie’s Elaine Gerry scored four goals against Tomah, while Tara Pulvermacher scored the two others. The Eagles are 3-0-0 overall. They have also beaten Onalaska and Watertown and have yet to allow a goal. At Logan, the Timberwolves faced another undefeated squad. Rangers’ goalkeeper Taylor Lewis stopped all five Tomah shots on goal and notched her second shuout of the season. Hannah Udell scored the game’s only goal -- her fourth goal of the season -- at the 19-minute mark. Erin Dechant played the entire game as Tomah’s goalkeeper and made five saves. Logan improved its record to 3-0-0.
