" People need to know what's behind the Man. They need to know that Nicholson was a huge help to me, in my search of a son. Who, was missing for 14 years after his mother left the state. After she lost custody of her first son. Mark on his own time, managed to locate a old address in Arizona. Giving us an idea where to center our search. After contacting countless schools. He was located at the age of 14 having only having been 6 month when taken. Once located a Arizona Court order that he return to Wisconsin with his father. Lt Nicholson is a big plus for the force and the city of Tomah. Don't put him in the class of Sheets. "

" Quality and professionalism is two traits we need from our police force. We have found that in Lt. Nicholson and also his family. People forget behind every good man is a great family. Good luck Mark and congrats on your well deserved promotion. You have your hands full. "

" Just what does your comment have to do with Nicholson getting promoted to Lt? Who cares about a police officer getting fired 10 years ago for sleeping. From someone that has known him for a long time. Way to go Nick!! "

" yes there has been a cop found sleeping on the job, he doesn't work as a police officer or security of any kind now, actually I think he sells manufactured homes in the Tomah area, but I don't know. I guess Tomah police have done something decent in the last 10 years, fired a cop for sleeping on the job. "
