Marshfield went to the WIAA state girls basketball tournament, which meant the Tomah High School girls track team didn’t go to Marshfield.

The Marshfield girls indoor track & field invitational was cancelled Thursday and isn’t likely to be rescheduled. That means the girls will open their season at the Northern Indoor Invitational at Menomonie March 22.

The boys meet at Marshfield scheduled for Tuesday is still on. Tomah’s boys will then join the girls at Menomonie.

The first outdoor meet is April 8 at Holmen, which hosts a Mississippi Valley Conference/Coulee Conference invitational.
