Wayne Kling is making another run for Tomah School Board.

Kling was the only candidate to have filed declaration of candidacy papers as of Wednesday afternoon. Three seats are at stake in next spring’s election. The incumbents are Gene Baumgarten, Deb Buswell and Joan Greendeer-Lee.

Candidates have until 5 p.m. Jan. 2 to submit papers at the school district office. The primary, if necessary, is Feb. 19. The general election is April 1.

" About the only thing Lincoln and Kling have in common is that they are both relatively tall. "

" I wonder were Mr. Kling stands on the diversity issue, or 4-year-old kindergarten? Although, from what it sounds like, I don't think it would matter where he stands on any particular issue, because people don't seem to like him. I, on the other hand, will wait to see what he has to say, because the way I see it, the Tomah school board needs someone with a new perspective, and they should be held accountable for their failure to truly seek the public's opinion on the issues! Hmmmm....maybe I should run, maybe I could win by default?! lol "

" He has every right to run like you and me. I guess as republican ilk you decide who qualifies. Then put in your papers. Put up or shut up. You dont have to vote for him but to treat him like this for wanting to do something in this god forbidden town is typical. Cant be any worse than what we have now. "

" Some people just dont understand their role in life. The writing has been on the wall for years now. It's in bold and caps lock. If Kling wins any election in this town, we will all be saluting him while standing at attention!! And that won't be by choice either. "

why wrote on Dec 14, 2007 7:40 PM:

" obviously he hasn't learned from his many past times of losing. People better put their papers in or they won't have a choice because he'll be the only one on the ballot, and he'll vote for himself so he'd get the job. Remember that folks, you might want to complain but if you don't make a stand and try then why open your mouths. "

you again! wrote on Dec 14, 2007 3:27 PM:

" I can see it now...6 hrs of history and archeology followed by 2 hrs of ROTC drills on the football field! "
