" I haven't seen much punishment for hardly anyone in this case. It seems most have been let off with a slap on the wrist. Most have been in trouble with the law before this case and quite a few have been in the news for breaking the law since then. So if they aren't being held accountable for their actions why bother arresting them? What good are our laws if they aren't enforced? When are these criminals going to be punished? "

" I have had enough of these people who play down every drug bust as "just the little guy" the police got. The same happened with that place raided over on Heeler Ave. The story is written, something is acutually accomplished and then people post remarks like "they wate time with the little guys"
------- I consider anybody who is using, selling or holding drugs and drug guns to be A BIG PROBLEM to get rid of. DO THES WRITERS ATUALLY WANT MAYHEM IN THEIR NEIGHBORHOODS, UNCHECKED, UNSTOPPED UNTIL THEY HAVE SOME THUG FROM CHICAGO OR ATLANTA SETTING UP SHOP HERE???? "

" OK bud you completely avoided the issue. If you are SOOOO well versed in the underground drug scene and have ALL this information you should do something about it, yet you choose to be a part of the problem. How sheepish of you bud. I guess I wouldn't expect more from someone who, as you say, has been in law enforcement, yet you lack the desire to better the community/state/country. Yeah that might be asking too much, sorry. Based on your "Law enforcement" experience I am willing to bet that you have achieved the level of master mall security guard. You should be proud. "

" It's obvious your a cop and I will not "shut up", you are so angered because what I say has a lot of truth behind it. There is no way DRUGS are this big of problem without CORRUPTION in law enforcement....Huge political conspiracy? I never said it was a political conspiracy, that would denote some semblance of intelligence on the part of those involved. I said it was POLITICAL in nature(if you don't know the difference then you should educate yourself) I have worked in law enforcement for years on many different levels and I have a perfect right to voice my opinion and those wearing badges and guns are not totally truthful about controlling this problem. Your inability to control your overly aggressive confrontational tactics won't influence me an any way. Nor will they change the facts that after 30 years of This so-called "WAR ON DRUGS" it's a complete and utter FAILURE. And the main reason why is POLITICS, it's all the Bureaucracies fighting over money and power struggles between locals and state and feds. That's why it touted as such big news when they finally work together on a drug bust meanwhile behind the scenes people are trying to gain power and face time on the local news. Drugs and Politics you bet it's the worst form of POLITICS. You sound as though your right in the mix of this Political game, and have been there so long you don't see the forest for the trees "

" A perfect little sheep am I? HAHA! You clearly don't know what you're talking about. Let me put it to you this way, unless you have the guts to strap on a gun belt and pin a badge to your chest, keep your uneducated, cynical BS to yourself. Also, if you're so convinced that the drug issues in this country is nothing more than a huge political consipiracy, why aren't you running for President so you can put a stop to it once and for all? Again I say to you, if you think you have all the answers, then you should immediately contact the DEA and local law enforcement - I'm sure they can't wait to hear from you. In closing - put up or shut up! "
Legalize? wrote on Nov 7, 2007 8:30 PM:
" Lets see if I can shake the hornet nest. If the us today said we are legalizing drugs and we are going to let store owners sell these drugs to 18 and older people. What would be the negatives and positives. We would have less prisoners, jailers, police, judges, prosecutors, lawyers, crime. We then accept the problem of over use. Do we go the rout of alcohol. Which by the way is a drug. You can drive with a little coke or weed. the police will still make money by driving under the influence etc. If the us floods the market with cheap drugs then there is no dealers, no crime because of drugs on the corner. Then legalize prostitution and other things and we can really cut costs in this country. "

" I must say your the perfect little sheep. The police could end the DRUG GAME OVERNIGHT IF THEY REALLY WANTED TO, but if you end the DRUG GAME then how do you show the need for more money more cars and more officers.....THIS IS ALL POLITICAL and a moron could with a badge and a gun end the drug game. PERIOD.......This is BIG MONEY there is a lot of money in DRUGS AND MOST OF IT IS ON THE LEGAL SIDE. JUST AS WITH PROHIBITION IT DOESN'T WORK and just makes bigger police forces, more prisons, and millionaires out of thugs.....WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY BILLIONS OF DOLLARS ARE BEING PLAYED WITH ON BOTH SIDE.....And if you don't think the cops know exactly who is dealing DREAM-ON "

" To some extent you're right - putting this one person away isn't going to stop the drug problem, but its still a step in the right direction. I don't know that I'd call it a joke though. Each drug dealer put in jail is one less drug dealer selling to kids on the streets. In fairness to you though, if you have any better ideas or think you can do a better job then you should certain step up to the plate - I'm sure that law enforcement would be thrilled to hear from you. "

And whats worse is people post what a GREAT job they are doing....GIVE ME A BREAK, more of the blind leading the blind "
