Published - Thursday, October 26, 2006 Letter: Choose God's word, vote yes on marriage amendment November 7 will mark a day of decision. We will vote. How we vote will not make us any more or any less American. However, the vote on the marriage amendment will decide whether we protect a long standing American standard, or leave that standard vulnerable to left-wing activist judges. Do not base your vote on deceptive ads and TV commercials brought by those seeking to make what is normal and natural, to be perceived as normal and natural. Do not be intimidated in your vote by the pressure tactics being used to push the Gay Rights agenda. Do not accept the intimidation of left-wing professors, teachers and politicians (some local) when they say a yes vote on the marriage amendment will make you homophobic, bigoted, mean-spirited and un-American. I will vote yes on the marriage amendment because I believe it is right. I also believe God’s word is right, and it says that the gay/lesbian lifestyle is vile and not natural (Romans 1). I will stand on God’s word with my vote. Where will you stand? Keith M. Bitz, Tomah
